Yesterday, Jon and I decided to go explore the La Sal Mountains. Located about 40 miles from Moab, they are protected under the U.S Forest Service. It is also elk hunting season up there, so we were required to wear reflective jackets once we got to the top. The sunset was beautiful! I got to play in the SNOW for the first time since last March!!! I was giddy and excited like a little girl. Jon took me on some hikes, and it was pretty obvious that me and altitude do NOT mix. It was a blast, and I can't wait until we go sledding.
Now, just for laughs... I found this in our kitchen cabinet while I was cleaning. Just one of the many reasons why I love Utah... :P
